Re: My dogs eyes are swollen and puffy what could it be
Hi & welcome.
You've probably already heard this from someone else, but please go to the vet. It may be nothing, but eyes should always be checked. Plus, if he's not been himself he may have some sort of virus/bacterial infection that needs looking at. Of course, it may just be an allergy, but it isn't worth the risk.
In the meantime, hold a damp, used tea bag (cold, obviously) over his eye for about a minute, several times a day. Tea calms irritation & won't hurt!

Hi from me & Katy, sorry to hear Tyson is poorly I agree with Gilly, a trip to the vets is advisable! If it had just been his eyes I would of said allergy but if he's been sick & off colour it could be something else. Let us know how you get on,

Hi thankyou for your replys just to let yous know that tyson has been to the psda vets this morning and hes been kept In they think he might have a absess at the back of his throat and was quite painful when the vet checked inside his mouth so he's been giving a general anisetic so they can check properly to see what it is I'll keep you updated on his progress

Oh, poor boy!
Hopefully they can just paint some antibiotic on it & he'll be right as rain in time!
Please do let us know what happens.
