We have several information sheets on various subjects that crop up regularly. These are intended as helpful guides to give you some ideas of things to try. They are written by our members who are not professional dog trainers. We advise you to use them carefully and remember the following:

  • always read your dog's body language to assess that he is happy with what you are asking him to do
  • never ask your dog to do anything that you feel he is not able to or is unhappy doing
  • only do things that you are comfortable with
  • if you have a significant problem, it is always advisable to seek the help of a professional trainer or behaviourist. We will shortly have a sheet on seeking professional help

Please note that you remain responsible for any training you do with you dog. Our advice is general and not necessarily for your own specific situation.
