Swollen Eye Empty Swollen Eye

Post by densil Mon Nov 03 2014, 11:25

Last night about an hour before we went to bed Densil started rubbing his nose on the carpet which was unusual. When I had a closer look at him, one of his eyes was sort of halfway shut so he was squinting through it. I wiped it with some warm water on a piece of cotton wool, and checked again this morning and did the same thing. It doesn't look red and there is no discharge. Sometimes he opens it but other times he is squinting. Otherwise he seems ok. I am wondering if he has hurt himself in the garden as can't think what else has caused it and he is fine otherwise apart from reacting to fireworks. I am thinking see how he goes today and if no change tomorrow to ring the vets.

I would also pop him along to see the vet, can't be too careful with vision and eyes.

Vin has had this several times usually requires eye drops, but he may have scratched it on something, but as said best pop to the vets Smile
