swollen tail
Hi can anyone help, jack our staffie woke up this morning with his tail swollen at the base, and a little kink in his tail, was all right last night, please help x

As above I'd pop to the vet or give them a call. Did you do anything different last night or perhaps have a romp in the park with another dog?

Sounds just what like my boy had, lumber tail its a swelling at the base of the tail causing the tail not being able to lift or wag very well. Its usually caused by getting very wet ie a bath or being in heavy rain. It should go within a few days if not pop along to the vets xx

thanks, yesterday it was throwing it down with rain at the coast, we did take jack out with us for a drink, and he did get wet though, lets hope its lumber tail xx
