Staffy coat length

Hi everybody!
Recently I've been noticing that our 5 month staffy coat is much longer that others and I'm starting to think that he might not be purebred, we bought him with pedigree papers.
Can a staffy have a longer coat? I would say it's about 10 to 15 mm long on the back but short on the legs.

The coat is often longer along the spine & around the neck, but shorter on the belly, legs, head & sides.

To be honest, the photo looks okay.

I’ve just had a look at my girls and their coat is also around 1cm on their backs. Totally agree with gilly and with the photo you’ve posted, your pup definitely looks staffy.
Would you have reason to doubt the authenticity of the papers you received with your boy ?

I just found it strange because all the other staffy's that I've been seeing on the dog park have a really short coat all over and I got a bit concerned that I might have been scammed.
I'll introduce myself and post some more photos of Shadow
