Dropping down to two meals? Empty Dropping down to two meals?

Post by Kirstybarbs Fri Dec 18 2015, 19:43

Hi guys. So my little Bonnie is now 23 weeks (I think) and I'm wondering when I should or can drop her down to two meals a day? She currently has three but ideally I want her to drop to two eventually as not always around at lunchtime. When is the ideal time to do this? And so j do it gradually or just go for it?
Thanks as always for your advice

Is she eating with great interest on each meal? if she's just snacking on them & leaving it, I would say she's ready to go down to 2 Smile

agree with Jen,if she is just snacking on the middle meal then cut her down to just the 2 meals, she's nearly 6 months so she should be fine Smile

She is a complete pig with her food and devours it within 5 seconds. I think I may have to carry on with her middle meal for a while longer then.

I have just today cut Arthur down to 2 meals as he is 6 months old.It went very well.It took him 13 seconds to demolish his meals,so he was still hungry, never left a thing in his life.We bought him a special dish to slow him down and it now takes him over half a minute. We should have called him Porky, what a pig.
