2 meals = poo less
I have droped him down to 2 meals a day now at 9months old,has always been 3 since i got him, thought he was ready and easier for me to finally switch him down.
I always walk him after every meal straight after feed (which i dont do anymore because it shouldnt be done and i know to wait at least an hour now) that said however he did always poo on walks.
Now hes down to 2 feeds he doesnt go as much and like today,i took him out for a walk in the morning fed him an hour later at 10am,i took him out for a walk there and all he did was pee,he done a poo in the morning but after his dinner 5 hours later he still hasnt done a poo? is that normal?
Due to eatting bigger meals now because its split into 2 and not 3,make it longer to digest or something

Vin has 2 meals a day and has a poo on his first walk, before breakfast then has his tea a hour and a half before evening walk and has one then. Occasionally though he will have one inbetween if he has been in his crate when I am at work as geta a few treats

Ledger will poo on our morning (pre breakfast) walk as soon as I get up, again late morning/early afternoon and also usually on our evening walk although since being spooked by the fireworks on boxing day he hasnt been on our night walk and is more concerned with getting back home.

Re: 2 meals = poo less
A full tummy can lead to a poo-reflex in puppies, but I've always found that as they grow up they settle into a routine. Mine have always had two good walks a day (sometimes three), always before meals (if any are due) and have generally settled into doing their poos morning and evening on these walks.

I guess that is another advantage of raw feeding, Ella. Less crap in their food to get rid of

I love that owning dogs makes conversations like these the norm lol. Non-dog owners just don't get it!
