MissyMoo coughing in the morning
MissyMoo in the last week has started to cough when she wakes first thing in the morning , noting much about 3 or 4 times , and then maybe 1 time every couple of hours , she has the slightest runny nose to day but other than that she is fine , no loss of appetite and is in really good form , ive googles kennel cough and looked at YouTube videos and her cough is nothing like what im seeing or reading , any personal experience or thoughts .

Re: MissyMoo coughing in the morning
No experience of the symptoms you describe but I would get the cough looked in to. The wet nose may be nothing but it's unusual for dogs to cough so worth a vet visit I think.
Let us know how Missy gets on.

Re: MissyMoo coughing in the morning
when was the last time she had a health check?
is there anything i her bedding that might be irritating her lungs?
i would get the vet to check her heart to rule out heart problems; if tgat's ok he might recommend antibiotics.

Re: MissyMoo coughing in the morning
This has started to stop already , coughed 3 single times over the whole day and that was while out exercising , we have been given her honey to sooth her throat , i read that mild kennel cough will clear itself over a few days so ill keep a close eye and if it persists at all then ill take her the to vets .
