Panic Empty Panic

Post by peppa Tue May 13 2014, 23:17

I bought peppa new metal chain at the pet shop today and when trying it I unlocked for a sec and she bolted out of the shop in full speed crossing a big road (at the crossing like she always does!) not reacting to me shouting and running like mad she only stopped at the park nearby laying stoically on the grass with a stick in her mouth
Waiting for me to join her and play. I lost years of my life.
I feel she is my boundaries now just like a rebelling teenager and the only thing I can do is just staying firm and persistant but that incident scared the life out of me ill never let her do something like this ever again.

I bet you have relived those few minutes over and over again since! So scary, you keep thinking of what could have been. Glad she was ok, in trouble, but ok Wink

It was a nightmare and I kept thinking about it all night what a close call it was but thankfully she's fine and we had really good training session after and she's been obedient (for a while now..) and I'm going to make sure she stays whatever it takes sometimes I forget she's just a puppy.
