Re: Panic
Look on the inside of the harness. Is there anything there that could have caused it to rub her? Is it soft and pliable in that area. Could it be an allergic reaction? was it too tight? Just asking the obvious here

Re: Panic
Yep definitely looks like its rubbed - a telling off well deserved - you could try some savalon on it - not a huge fan of sudacrem as its very greasy and doesn't le the skin breathe x

Re: Panic
some leathers are tanned using chromium
which can cause contact-dermatitis with humans
no idea if it be same with dogs
if it is the case bicarbonate of soda can neutralise it
a reaction to chromium on humans appears as little bumps
like mini ulcers that itch and burn
i think a severe case can cause a serious rash

Re: Panic
Marquez got that under his front armpits with his first harness and we used MooGoo MSM soothing cream and it healed and cleared up in less than a week. I use it as a moisturiser too as MSM is good for the skin.

Re: Panic
I noticed Lula seem to not like her harness and would move away when i put it on but loved her walk. when i checked her the harness had rubbed under her arm pits. I stop using it and bought her a trixx fleece one that she likes and is comfy
hope it clears up quickly
