Double ended lead? Empty Double ended lead?

Post by peppa Sun May 11 2014, 20:13

R.I.P flexi leads they are great but not for peppa today I find myself with the last flexi lead in my hand unconnected to the bolting pup chasing a spaniel in the wrong part of the park totally forgetting her recall that is quite good most of the time or when she's not feeling the need to take the piss !
Anyway have somebody tried the double ended leads? Will it be strong enough connected to her collar and harness? When is it recomanded to use or should I just go for the good old metal chain?

Haven't got the link to hand but I use a double ended police style lead off eBay (about £7-£Cool it's superb I bought two and the spare has never left the cupboard Ledger hasn't even chewed through it tho he has tried a couple times. I only attach to his collar which allows him to roam upto 2m

I have just bought a double ended police style lead, nice & strong with a good length if required. I'm only using it on Katy's collar, not putting her harness on as she is in training  Laughing

We use the double ended lead. Alfie is a strong puller and we have one end on his halti and the other on his harness. Think ours is 6ft.
