Any ideas?
Vin does suffer from skin allergies but the last day or so he has had red bumps under his armpits. He's scratching like crazy and the sores are weeping. We're bathing with salt water and will pop him to the vet tomorrow (not open today). Any ideas what it could be?
We have no idea what antihistamines we could give him either:(

Re: Any ideas?
Do you have any piriton where you are?
Has he been in any long grass etc in relation to when it started?

Stubble fields can make Chloe come out in a rash. Piriton has always helped her. Poor Vinny - hope it didn't stop him sleeping.

Re: Any ideas?
Well we don't have fields etc to walk in but we do have a grassy garden and he does suffer with grass allergies, so I suspect that since we have had our first rains this week and he has been rolling around that it has flared up. It did keep him from sleeping last night, poor boy.
I've no idea what we would have that is equivalent to piriton and will need to do some home work

Aww no poor vin it looks so sore Lisa, it could definitely be his allergy flaring up:( the active ingredient in piriton is Chlorphenamine Maleate so perhaps you could have a look to see what you can get hope this help Lisa

Re: Any ideas?
Thanks Hayley, I'll definitely have a look.
Dave, nope, the harness he has doesn't go under the arms (one of the reasons we prefer it to avoid his flare ups)
