Re: ideas
Do you have a Morrisons near you? They're the only supermarket that have their own butchers. You can often get lamb bones from them. Try for lamb necks or spines. Ribs are ok but they can be tempted to swallow larger bits which defeats the object. The necks/spines are a slightly softer bone so they don't get fed up with gnawing on something all the time - they get to eat it as well!

at puppy class they told us to encourage a dog to chew on his toys etc.. is to smear them with vegemite..... or in your case.. it would be marmite! ( as most dogs love the flavour )

I've made a much of vegetables, and peanut butter. I place the mush inside of a kong and freeze. This keeps Suki going for hours and I use it as a distraction when we leave her alone. Might work for you though.

Smear anything and everything with peanut butter, it worked for me.

Re: ideas
I tried a finger brush & it became a finger chew! I brush Dempsey's teeth about once a month just to make sure there's nothing building up & I use an ordinary toothbrush & a doggie tooth powder - just find it a lot easier

i thought it would be a nightmare but it was ok, this stuff you dont have brush much aslong you get it on the problem spot it should do the work for you well that what the vet said. i'm going to do it everyday and see how he gets on.
the vet said he think it will cost about £150 to clean hole of his teeth so with the stuff to put him to asleep & whatever it be around £250
