Check that there is nothing between the toes that's irritating. I'm guessing she's nibbling at it which is making it look worse. Wash with warm salt solution and if it doesn't start to clear get the vet to take a quick look.

strange thing is it goes and comes back been to the vet they have washed it and gave antibiotics, but it still comes back every few weeks or so.

Hmmm ok... it could be a nibbling habit too. My Flo is a chronic nibbler and we've been through the same routine as you but never completely cured her of it. We tend to distract her whenever we catch her having a go at it and clean between her toes after every walk.
Keeping her paws clean should help but it is odd the way it keeps returning

yeah it,s very odd also this may sound even more strange her intake of food goes up which of course i watch her weight, the vet is not sure what it is other than that she is well.

looks as though long grass may be getting stuck there causing the infection all the time giving the toes a wash with salt water will keep the wound clean

been back to vet turns out its a cyst , but i will wash between her toes and use salt water and see what happens cheers guys for your views.
