training lead
hi everyone, I about to purchase a dog/horse training lead on ebay.
The lengths vary from 5ft to 100ft.just wanted to quickly ask what's the best length to purchase for a 4 month pup well he's nearly 5 months now. I was thinking 30/40ft. i believe some owners here have purchased 50?
thanks in advance

Re: training lead
Hi!
We have a 50ft training lead for Rocky, and have had that since he was 5 or 6 months roughly

I have 30f and 50f, for walking I prefer the 30f and for playing fetch on the field the 50f

Re: training lead
thank you sazzle i can see how that would be convenient than having to reel in loads to shorten the (more than likely mucky) lead. The fact that they are reasonably priced helps a lot also. I was going to bring my normal lead to switch over to after my recall training or fetch games. i think a shorter training lead may be handy too, thanx againSazzle wrote:I have 30f and 50f, for walking I prefer the 30f and for playing fetch on the field the 50f
