Lead Training
Hi all
Just wondered if anyone had ay tried and tested methods of lead training. Weller struggles a bit when the collar goes on but settles fine when he has been wearing it a while then pretty much ignores it. But he gets terribly distressed when I try to attach the lead. when I eventually get it on with lots of coaxing and a few treats he refuses to budge. Here's a picture!
All ideas most welcome Cheers

HI yes he shoots under the nearest table/chair/anything he can hide under and refuses to budge. If I try to coax him with treats on the floor, he eventually comes out but shoots straight back!

Re: Lead Training
Yeah can't add anything to that. Just a matter of perseverance and plenty of praise really. We have all been there, and one day it will just happen.
