I'd give her two or three. You could give one every day, but you'll find they're quite high in fat and at 13 weeks you don't want a roly poly pup!

Re: query on number of eggs to give puppies
lol she has so much energy dont think that will be a problem. She stopped eating for nearly 2 days last week when i mistakingly got her the wrong flavour of food was advised to mix in tinned sardines in oil in with her food which I did she only has half a fillet in each meal so a tin lasts 2 days and she eats it all up which was a relief its also helping with her dry skin problem coat is lovely and shiny and the dandruff is almost gone only problem now is she blows off something rotten lol but I can cope with that its worth it to have a happy healthy puppy

Some charcoal biscuits may help with the wind issue

The larger pet shops should have them (they're the black biscuits), or you can buy them online.

Re: query on number of eggs to give puppies
Chiquito has an egg a day and has done since he was little. If you are concerned about weight, take a little of the food out to compensate
In regards to the dandruff ... is it a recurring issue or a one off? All over or isolated and have you done anything else to help with it? (Chiquito has had ongoing issues with dandruff since he was 12 weeks old)

Re: query on number of eggs to give puppies
Hi when we first brought sasha home and took her to the vet for a check up and for vaccinations etc the vet said that she had dandruff but offered no solution. It seemed to clear up but the other day she had been digging in the garden and was really dirty and smelly so I gave her a bath using a puppy shampoo the next day the dandruff was back really bad I asked advice on the forum and was advised to add sardines or salmon oil into her food which I have for 4 days now and it seems to be helping its not so bad but is still quite evident as she is black x

Re: query on number of eggs to give puppies
Chiquito had quite bad dandruff all over his body off and on from about 12 weeks ... we added eggs and fish to his diet and eventually changed him to full raw which has really, really helped. I also found using a good quality sensitive shampoo and conditioner was really helpful (I used Aloveen initially and have now swapped to PAW Mediderm & Nutriderm).
Initially when the dandruff started it was treated as dry skin (diet as above with oatmeal conditioner rubs 2 or 3 times a week) and when it kept up he was tested for mange (negative every time) .... for him, canine seborrhoea (which causes the dandruff and a yukky smell that accompanies it) is the issue.

What shampoo are you using? Some of them can cause dry skin darcy can suffer dry skin, I use paul Mitchell oatmeal shampoo its kind to their skin, it's a little expensive but you only need a little bit so it lasts a while I bought mine In march and I've still got almost a full bottle.

Re: query on number of eggs to give puppies
Ive got a feeling it was the shampoo I used on her but if it doesn't clear up in a week or so I will take her back to the vet to have it checked out. As for food she has half a fillet in each meal and she loves it tried to feed her without it this morning and she wasn't having any of it ran to the fridge and sat there as if to say wheres the rest. So looks like sardines will be part of her long term diet now. Will look into buying the suggested shampoo

Re: query on number of eggs to give puppies
I keep chickens so there are always tons of eggs! I give them about 4 each a week and they usually steal some when I am collecting them from the chickens.
