what to give puppies as a treat
Hi, I have a 12 week old pup and feed him dry food 3 times as day. Is there anything we can give him as a treat. Cheers

We use home made jerky or vegetables.

We always make sure to have some when walking to use as a reward or distraction. Also for training to keep her interested.

I always used sausage for traning the tinned ones. But anything tasty really but only as treats not any other time.

A tiny piece of cheese works well for a training treat, anything that is of high value.
Rocky is now nearly 5 years old and he loves pieces of carrot too. We take some of his daily food allowance out on walks with us a treat too.

Cocktail sausages cut up small - supermarket pack costs £1 ish and lasts for ages. PAH do puppy treats in packs too.
