Leaking swollen nipple
Hi everyone,
Moll had a swollen nipple but it wasn't causing her any pain or discomfort (it had a little bit of a skin growth next to it). We took her to the vets who said it was normal and nipples aren't all standardised, we were not to worry.
Over the weekend I noticed the swelling had disappeared on the original nipple (closest to her bum end) but there were swellings on two other nipples on the opposite side. Last night i was investigating them and both nipples secreted what might be milk? I'm not sure. I have booked into the vets tomorrow. They don't seem to cause her any pain/discomfort and she is eating and drinking as normal, lively in herself.
Anyone else ever had this?
Its been over 6 months since she came out of season. She is also already on a corse of antibiotics for a new bald spot she got (her skin is an ongoing problem...we thought we had seen the end of the demodex but then one new spot! Grrr)
Thank you for any help T
he vets seems to be our second home!

Re: Leaking swollen nipple
Could she have had a 'silent' season? ie, no outward signs but still in season?
If the secretion doesn't smell, isn't tinged with blood and is a milky-ish colour then it shouldn't be a problem, but obviously your vet should have a look.
Let us know what he says!

Will do. She got spayed a couple of months ago so she shouldn't have come into season? Oh dear!
And no blood or smellyness to the secretion (sounds gross but I did smell it!)
