bitten by another dog
My dog (digger) just got bitten by another dog (pointer i think).. Digger is inquisitive and runs to play with any other dogs, other owner said it was ok so left them to it..
Digger seems to be fine, bit of a scar on top of his head but the main bite was on the base of his ear... he now looks like he has an ear piercing, tooth must have gone through his ear. Not much blood at all, just looks a bit red, not pouring out or anything like that.
Was wondering if there was anything i could do at home to treat, or should i go to the vet... unfortunately i cant go to vet today but will be able to take him tomorrow... if needed. advice please?!
Matt

Poor Digger - doesn't sound like it is anything to worry about. Just clean it up (i'd use a little tcp, tea trea or somothing along those lines) and keep an eye on it. If you are at all concerned take him to see the Vet.

He'll be fine. Just keep an eye on him. The most important thing is to not change your routine when walking and don't be worried around other dogs as it could rub of on Digger and make him nervous.

I would get it checked by the vet in case of infection, try to keep the wound clean with a little cooled boiled water.

Awe! Poor Digger. I sure hope his ear gets better soon.
