Advice needed.
So I need advice on my Bruno, I have managed to stop him biting me but unfortunetly he is still attacking my b.f is biting that hard he won't let go and drawing blood, my b.f works and I don't so I am doing most of the training, he is doing the same as me yelp and ignore but his voice is a lot more deeper and louder which I guess is obvious as he's male but still his methods are not working, my b.f gets in at 3.30am from his nightshift and it excites Bruno and then he bites and does not let go, this needs stopping asap so please help as I can't do it for him.

Re: Advice needed.
Not much can be done except for your boyfriend to keep doing what he's doing, unfortunately. Loki took forever to stop biting me, but he did stop eventually. I would say your boyfriend could try to get more involved in feeding and training Bruno so he has more time to teach him not to bite him, but if he's working a lot, that'll be difficult. Bruno will learn in time though.

Getting the boyfriend involved in training will help. When he gets home the pup is going to be excited and think it's playtime.

Also, if you haven't already get him to back off and sit when he greets anyone. Mine have to go into the kitchen and wait to be approached. Just a thought, but as others have said, involvement and patience are key.

Re: Advice needed.
I find now that tyke is older (4) that he plays different with myself, my OH and my son. this is a good thing as he knows how act around each of us, but tyke as a puppy use to bite my OH more than me as he use to play more 'rough and tumble' with him. I would recommend same as the others may be get him more involved in the whole training

The best and most successful technique I have used to teach or punish Zeus for various things is taking him out of the room. Whenever he does something I don't want him to do, I literally pick him up and put him in the other room for a minute or so, I avoid all eye contact then let him back in. There have been times where I've had to do it 10/15 times constantly, but eventually he got the message. You should give it a go, it's given me a good response.

Re: Advice needed.
If I was you OH I would put 3 pairs of socks on when I finished work
Just keep doing what you have been I'm sure it will sort itself out soon.
You could give yourself a giddle and tell your OH that he has to yelp at as high pitch as possible as pups don't take deep yelps seriously

I have got him to feed and potty train Bruno more which I think is helping, we will get there but I think he was smacked in his last home which is terrible, I hope it does not have a lastingeffect.
