Advice needed please!!
Hi guys
Buster seems to have an issue with wee wees.
In the last 3 hours buster has done around 10 wees on the carpet plus ones outside.
Too me this doesn't seem right. We can be playing with him and all of a sudden he stops walks a ft away and goes right there.
He doesn't do anything through the night.
I know his puppy an he will learn to ask to go out but I'm a little bit worried as this seems a lot.
He can do up to 3 wees in the space of 5 minutes them I can put him out and he does another.
I will ask the bet when we go on say but this seems very odd to me.
Any advice would be appreciated.

Re: Advice needed please!!
That does sound odd. I'd hazzard a guess at a mild dose of UTI (urinary tract infection), and he may need some anti-bs.

That's what I'm thinking a little water infection. As its only ever wees he does indoors other toilet he does outside no problems

Just mention it to them. A short course of antibiotics will usually sort it quickly.

I wouldn't have thought so, because he's probably poo indoors as well.

hope the vet gets him fixed quickly, I take it this is a new problem and he hasn't been like this since you got him

Re: Advice needed please!!
Quite common I think for UTI's in small pups.
My male couldn't reach his 'bits n pieces' to clean himself until about 4mths old lol !
Hope the vet sorts him out, make sure he's getting plenty of fluid so it will help to flush thru any bugs x

He has always done wees in the house bearing in kind only had him 2 weeks but the last few days more than ever.
His drinking about 3 bowls of water a day so defo getting enough fluids.
To be honest with you I'm hoping it is a uti and not a behaviour problems as starting to get me down because he can be so good

Sounds like a UTI to me as well. He may also be reluctant to go out if the weather is bad even though he really has to go.

Re: Advice needed please!!
What are you using to clean the area he's soiled?
How often do you take him outside for a wee? And what do you do when
a. he pees outside &
b. he pees inside.

Re: Advice needed please!!
Have you tried to tempt him outside to go for a wee ? Maybe some treats or a toy may work for this?
Hope all goes well for the vet trip and you can get to the bottom of this issue.

When he has done a wee indoors i soak it up with tissue then scrub my carpet with vanish. If it is on the wood again with the tissue and then once over with the mop that has diluted floor cleaner (flash).
when he goes outside I praise him good bot so on and treat when he comes in he goes out every 30-1 hour i suppose.
when he goes indoors i show him what he has done tell him no and put him outside for a few moments.

He normally goes outside fine if im honest. He never does the other toilet indoors that is always outside.
He sometimes even asks to go out but the last few days since sunday evening i would say he just doesnt try to tell us or show no real signs just stops what he is doing and goes lol

Re: Advice needed please!!
I'd say he was a normal puppy lol. Obi used to stand by the back door with it open and pee on the kitchen floor lol.
I would take him out every 15 - 20 minutes after he's been to sleep after he's eaten and after play. You've only had him 2 weeks it will take a while for him to be fully house trained. I'd still ask the vet to check him over when you go for your 2nd vac.
Try and soak up as much of the wee as you can then clean the area with a solution of washing power/liquid and water 10 parts water to 1 part washing powder hard floor or carpet. The enzymes stop the smell, Just cos we can't smell it doesn't me he can't lol.
He'll get there eventually

I remember caley going through this, she was like a never ending weeing machine. I used to take her outside every 15 mins it felt like that was all I did. We also got her checked to be on safe side though, but turned out to be a puppy thing. Good luck
