Food query
Hi
We got our dog, Deez from a rescue place about 6 weeks ago, he has 2 tins of chappie, one in morning, one in afternoon. Was wondering if people think dry of mixture food is better for them than the wet chappie? Or has anyone been to petsathome for their diet/food recommendations, as they say they assess each dog?
He is 7 in December, does he need a different diet?
I am so confused about all the different food options on offer, just after some tips really.
Thanks in advance, from me and the dog.

Re: Food query
He can get everything he needs from dry, wet food is exactly that and lots of water , though apparently wainwrights wet pouches from pets at home are recommended
Personally our 2 both have Fish4dogs
here's a dry food list

Re: Food query
Rocky has Barking Heads which is on the list of recommended foods as above. He loves it and usually clears his bowl.
I add a little cooked cooled chicken to it for him. Barking Heads contains glucosamine and chondroitin to look after those joints.
All the different foods can be confusing, find something he likes which is healthy and stick to it.

Re: Food query
As above, really.
I won't feed tinned food (although Dempsey is raw fed) because I don't want to pay for 80% water when I can get that from the tap a lot cheaper!

Re: Food query
I'm with Caryll and feed raw.
If i was to feed kibble i would certainly go for fish4dogs though
