Best Harness for a STRONG boy
We go away next week, camping with Ted for two weeks. Really excited!
Does any one have any reccomendations for a strong but comfy harness? ..........
As we are camping he's going to be wearing it quite alot on the site and we will be taking him on lengthy walks daily.
He will also be wearing it to travel there and back in the car.
He's currently got a strong leather harness which has been fine so far on his everyday walks but I don't think it's suitable or comfy for him to be wearing for long periods of time.
He is ridiculously strong and terrible for pulling! Does anyone know of a comfy harness that wont snap and will be strong enough for him?
Thanks

Go to www.fordogtrainers.com
They have a wide selection for different uses, sure you will find a suitable one. We have a leather harness as well, but agree, dont think it should be used for long periods

I use the ezydog ones too, they are reasonably cheap, comfortable, dont restrict the breathing and best of all you can chuck em in the washing machine on a 30!

Thanks everyone.
Had a look at the Ezydog harness and they look really comfortable and look strong on the chest.
Just ordered him a nice blue one

This one looks very comfy and strong too, sorry I cannot personally recommend it though as I use an Ancol one for Rocky but when it needs replacing will try this one:

Re: Best Harness for a STRONG boy
I have a sporn harness for Winston, but I have to admit everyone has been raving about the ezy dog harnesses so much lately ,I have bought one off ebay in England! ( about half the price they are selling them for over here! ) Because I got it so cheap ( compared to here! ) I also got a matching lead..the one with the shock absorber built into it ! Can't wait to get them..but I did get boring black... I didn't want it to clash with his multi coloured collar with love hearts all over it!
Have a great holiday! I LOVE camping !

Those fleece ones are very good, but expensive for what they are. I know someone with agility dogs and they swear by them. Tali has pink Camo, Skibadee has blue camo and Brandy has red

Re: Best Harness for a STRONG boy
we use hurtta collection. http://www.hurttacollection.com/en/pro-en/products/harnesses/padded-y-harness/
this one is good since staffs easy back out of traditional harnesses and they cant with these ones, they are padded and SUPER strong, you dont even need to have them on tightly or 'snug' since it doent matter ther is no way for the dog to get it off.
I love it!

Oh I didn't look at the prices or brand to be honest, the ones they have in the pet shop in town are very similar but they cost about £50! I can't remember the brand think it's a hunting make. Why how much are those fleecy harnesses? They look good might have to invest in some.

£50! That is expensive. I paid about £10 off eBay for each of the boys harnesses, but theres loads on there to have a look at
