Re: what best strong collar
Always use the wide ezydog collars made of neoprene great collars

Re: what best strong collar
Rocky also has the EzyDog collar, which is the only collar so far that hasn't rubbed the hair off his neck.

Re: what best strong collar
If she's pulling so hard to snap a collar I can't imagine what damage that is doing to her neck. I use el perro collars with a double ended halti lead also attached to a padded trixie harness. Training is the key though, possibly more exercise too.

Re: what best strong collar
Also if she is pulling so much, like Rachael says, it can't be doing her neck any good. I would recommend you use a harness. More comfortable for your dog, I would be worried about damage to her neck area

I use Elperro collar, but I use a double ended lead attached to a Halti headcollar and his harness.

I agree with this, sounds like a harness would be much saferdebs0109 wrote:Also if she is pulling so much, like Rachael says, it can't be doing her neck any good. I would recommend you use a harness. More comfortable for your dog, I would be worried about damage to her neck area

Re: what best strong collar
We would advice the 5 minutes walking per month of age rule. An hours walk would be fine twice per day for an adult dog.

Re: what best strong collar
u should try a halti that attaches to collar staffies have really strong necks and the halti sits over the nose area giving u more control. i also think a harness isnt always ideal as staffies also have strong shoulder muscles so they can pull hard with these too! i went from a halti to a leather dogmatic which i dont leave the house without when walking chester! more now if we see another dog but training to heel needs to be continuously re enforced ( i would say that if u do use a halti make sure you get one that attaches to collar as they can pull them off )

Re: what best strong collar
Wow! Those collars and harnesses look like they would be very uncomfortable, also I couldn't justify those prices! Personally I don't like the thick studded collar look, why try to make your dog look hard and aggressive?

Re: what best strong collar
i completely agree! just got willow a soft leather wainwright collar and so far its strong and most importantly u can see its comfortable for her i chose the right size for her weight etc and she is good to heel im lucky i have a good stockist of all types of doggy goodies nearby and can take my dogs out the back and try them on! but i personally would not recommend that sight!!

I totally agree some of there products are a complete over kill and look ridiculous.
However the ones from there supatuff collection is what you want, there a much more simple design but most importantly they are very strong theres no way your staffy will brake it.
Take a look Here http://store.rogueroyalty.com.au/dog-collar-supatuff-slimline/
sorry i should of been more specific

Re: what best strong collar
I bought this one off the Internet for €23 it's very strong but it looks a bit OTT for a staffy, it's 2 inches wide
