sore ears

Hi, Vinnie has one ear inside that is very red and very waxy. He isnt scratching it intensley, but occasionally. I have cleaned it slightly with damp cotton wool but its very black with wax inside. Could it be an allergy to something. Any advice pleaase.

It could be the begining of an ear infection. Keep it clean and if he starts to scratch or it gets worse I'd go to the vet to get some drops. If you already have some I'd put them in now just in case.
