Sore leg
Bacchus started limping on his rear right leg a week past Saturday. I think he may have pulled a muscle playing fetch and flirt pole. He was OK at the time but started limping about an hour later. A friend who has had staffs all his life and is a show judge checked him over and agreed probably a strain. I restricted him to on-lead exercise but the limp persisted off and on for 8 days. Thankfully he hasn't limped since Monday but I will carry on with the on-lead exercise until the weekend.

Re: Sore leg
Rocky recently pulled a muscle too, it can take a while for them to heal up completely. We have restricted Rocky to on lead short walks of half an hour twice a day. It happened a week ago and it's still not quite right so will continue with the short walks for a few more days yet.
We do have an advantage of having an ultra sound machine and have been treating him with this though, if it persists pop along to the vet.

Pretty much what I've been doing. Thanks Kathy. That's 3/4 days with no limping but just to be on the safe side I'll restart with short periods of slightly more vigorous exercise at the beginning of next week. Wen we pass the area where we normally play he stops and looks at me as if to say " Well, get the toys out"

Re: Sore leg
Happens with Suki to every so often. Rest it as much as possible and slowly work back into the normal routine

Re: Sore leg
Biscuit also pulled a ligament in a leg recently.. I had her on 10 minute lead walks x 2 daily for a week and anti inflammatory meds for 3 days. All cleared up now and back to her usual self
