Sore leg/hip
Chiquito has been favoring one leg/hip for about two days - he is not limping but rather has a funny wobble/throw of the leg in his walk. Still playing, eating etc however he has been refusing to walk when on lead, was under active at the park yesterday and then today at the dog park only made a half attempt to play for 20 minutes before flopping down and refusing to move .. so I carried him to the car and we visited the vet.
Vet thinks he has hurt a muscle in his leg/hip and has prescribed anti-inflammatory tabs and a few days of rest (no playing, walks or dog park). Happy to try the rest part, however he has had an upset tummy for a couple of days (soft stools) so I am a little more hesitant than usual to put him on the anti-inflammatory tabs.
Anyone had experience with something similar or have suggestions for anything that might help outside of the medication?

Re: Sore leg/hip
Sorry Kell thats probably the only problem I have never had with Steff is a limp.. But I would suggest resting him for a few days and see if it helps

Thanks for asking Kylie
He has been taking the anti-inflammatory and resting since Friday - he doesn't seem to be pulling up on it .. though it is hard to tell whether it is better or if it is the lack of activity. Off the tablets today so will see how he goes for the next few days.

Re: Sore leg/hip
I know this is an old post but I just wanted to let you know that Lintbells do something called Yumove Young and Active and its for the muscles/limbs/joints etc, i've just put Axl on it as he's developed a limp after exercising too much and its good stuff! (I also use Yumega Oil from Lintbells for his itchy and scratchies and he's completely stopped so I have faith in these products )
Anyway I thought it might help! (Their website is easy to find if you google Lintbells).
