Re: Help! Very sore paws and ears
The worst foods for yeast overgrowth are sugar and grains, though burns isn't heavy in sugar it is fairly heavy in grains. Foods that may be helpful for digestion, may not be helpful for skin. Have you tried a completely grain free food? Which burns is it that you feed?
Understand not wanting to overload with antibiotics/steroids, but consulting with your vet is a good idea, even if you decide not to take their advice. You could also research "the natural medicine man" on Facebook, he tested my friend's dog for allergies - which came back with all sorts, from potatoes, to spiders to dust mites! Not all helpful, but an idea of what she was working with. He also offers remedies.

Re: Help! Very sore paws and ears
id say diet too but speak to your vet and see what they offer or suggest must be uncomfortable for your dog so a remedy will be best in the long run for them.
