A little worried
Hi guys,
Okay Moo finally got her cast off her foot after breaking 3 toes. YAY .. All good she is walking on it with pressue fine. BUT it looks kinda weird it has only been 3 full days with it being off. The thing i was massaging her tricep muscle because the muscle tone is at minumum of course because of the cast being on for 4 weeks. The bone is apparently healed well and intact. But her paw just is weird it feels all loose and when i straiten her leg out and shake from middle it wobbles around. I just thought it was odd or is it that the tendons havent strengthened yet?
Also sometimes she will hold her paw up like it hurts but then she puts it down and keeps walking on it. She hasnt yelled or anything.
Any help would be appreciated
Thanks
She is walking around fine though..a little too fine lol

Re: A little worried
As long as she is walking about pain free she should be fine. The muscles will have shrunk and will look smaller and a little odd. There may also be some strength differences as well. This is normal after being in a cast and it will gradually work itself out.
She likely also adapted to the cast and might be picking up her once injured paw to reassure herself that it is in fact heal or that the cast is gone.
