billys eyes were like this the other week, all his face swelled up including his nose, I think he had been stung by a wasp. We gave him some piriton and kept an eye on it. It took a couple of days to go down fully.

hope this helps

poor ruby

It could be a grass seed that is stuck in her eye, although I would be suprised if swelled so quickly. Me personally would be off to the vets. Poor Ruby, have you tried examining her eye for any foreign bodies? Let us know how you get on Xx

Awww, poor darling.
U would also take her to the vets. Please let us know how you get on.

Have you spoken to your Grandad since he left? Did your grandad say anything unusual happened on her walk????

i had some ASDA's own alergy releif that i take for hayfever, i gave her half with a bit of tea, she was scratching at her eye, and she does have a tiny round cut...im assuming she was either bit by something or stung........THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR HELP!! I dont know what i would have done!!!!!

He said he took her to the moat, which he dosnt usually do, then he popped in his friends house and she was limping, he said he checked her paw and there was nothing there then she sat by the front door with her head down (looking miserabe, which she does when we are at someones house and she wants to come home), when he left he said she was "right as rain" running about being her normal self...........

Im definatly taking her to the vet when i take Beau....her eyes and nose are swollen, but she is having no trouble breathing, and when i let Beau out for a wee, she was playing with him in the garden, now she is snuggled up with him sleeping whew!

It's definitely an allergic reaction - probably as you say a bite or sting. The anti histamine should help, but I'd just mention it to the vet when you go.
