Hi my dog is just one year old but has these last few weeks started mouthing and trying to bite at every chance is this normal? Could he still have teeth coming through at one year old as he was like this when his baby teeth fell out

Re: Puppy advise
No teasing, he is our first dog so probably a little spoilt but we still try to correct him, people tell me he's still a puppy and will calm down but I just worry that we are doing something wrong....thank you for your advise will walk him more and see how we go

Re: Puppy advise
if he goes over the top tell him if he carry on you move him to a nurghty spot for a few mins but do this all the time
Re: Puppy advise
It won't be teething. I think it's more likely either boredom or the 'teenage' years! You know the ones........they know everything, listen to nobody & nobody understands them.
Just be firm & consistent & go back to the basics as though he were 8 weeks old again!

Re: Puppy advise
I think it's a bit of boredom and teenage years. Suki is the same age and still does this when she wants us to play with her every so often. Either give a firm no or turn around and ignore.

Re: Puppy advise
Hi
How long do you walk him 15 min 20 min 60 min ?
I ask this cause a long walk is an hour and walking your dog once a day is to short .
What you can do is biycicle with him start slow and not to long .
