My thoughts have been confirmed..
so Mouse has been being abit off with her food the past week or so, being picky with it, she also has been nesting or atleast her attempts at it. She was in season in July, and her sister has just had puppys (they dont live in this area though), now mouse wasnt got to by any dog that was made sure of, my parents though she might just be being fussy, but i have taken notice that herr nipples havnt gone down, one looked abnormal so i went to check it out, and accidentally squeezed and milk came out.
she is definitly not pregnant, so this has to be a phantom.
She is going to be spayed, but im going to wait now till this phantom has finished and then get her done. does Anyone have any other infomation on phantom pregnancys?

Re: My thoughts have been confirmed..
Is there "any" chance.....no matter how slight that a dog may have got to her and that she "possiblY" could be pregnant?
I've never had anything at all to do with dog pregnancies, whether reall or phantom, but if it were me, I would be taking her to the vet for a check-up to be on the safe side either way ( maybe i'm too much of a worry-wart / stress-head )
Please keep us up-to-date.....and Good Luck

hia sasha used to have phantom pregnancies every time she came in to season before she was spayed, she used to mummy one certain toy(usually that squeeked),it looked sweet at first, she even use to put it near a teat thinkink she was feeding it!after a few days thou it looked pitifull to see her like it,a trip to the vets sorted it,a small bottle of hormones and a few days later she used to rip the toy that what was her baby up! ,so i would say make sure there is no toys for her to mummy, sasha's last one was a green dinasour, dont ask me how that looked like a pup!

Re: My thoughts have been confirmed..
100% No chance of her being pregnant.
Shes had a few days of nesting, and two days and a night of going checking on scruffy (our other dog)'s shed which is where she had done more nesting and "had them". My other dog was humering her and was "checking on them" aswell. (i checked there really was nothing). Shes slowly starting to calm down and forget about it. So it looks like shes not had it to badly.
she gets a minimum of two times a day hour long walks and often gets more, where she is out in feilds off lead running, so she gets plenty of exersise (aswell as playing at home)
