Poorly pup
Well Guys I got home from work this aft to a really poorly dog, there was 6 puddles of diahrea and rocko couldn't walk or pick himself up!
We went straight to the vets and the have kept him in for observation and to have him on a drip!!
The vets have said that we shouldn't be over worried at the moment as he feels he just has bad diahrea, but saying that hasn't made me feel any better and infact wound me up slightly because like all of you of course I'm going to be panicking I wouldn't have a dog if I didn't care for him!!!
Well I feel a lil better having a rant and having rocko being cared for!!!

Re: Poorly pup
Poor Rocko! Just a thought - ask the vet to test for Giardia as it sounds exactly like Dempsey had when he was about 11 months old. Was their blood in the runs?

Re: Poorly pup
simbo have you had your heating checked as that is a symptom of carbon monoxide possion iv heard dogs can go down with it at a lower dose than us.
not to worry you just best to be safe than sorry

Re: Poorly pup
We are having that checked in November but I will be sure to ask
Hopefully we will find out this evening what the problem is rather than being left speculating.
