Poorly bug a lug :(
Little worried about Bis.. she's thrown up really thick biley/phlegmy stuff 4 times in the past 24 hours, starved her this morning and fed her a little chicken mince at around 5pm and she's been sick again once since.. took her for a gentle 45 min walk and she was a little flat at first but was soon running around being her normal self again. She's fed on raw, and the last meal that she ate was lamb ribs.. she had a little bit of bone in her vomit this morning, but none since, and seems quite constipated. Added a little cider apple vinegar and a tiny bit of olive oil to her chicken mince to see if that helps, didn't know if I should offer her some natural yoghurt.
Any ideas what this could be? Going to call the vet in the morning if it hasn't improved..

Re: Poorly bug a lug :(
sorry only just seen this!
a bit of bone in their vomit is very normal with raw fed dogs, and 9 times out of ten means absolutely nothing.
Sounds like maybe she's had a bit to much bone and is abit constipated and its making her feel off.
Try feeding just boneless food, boneless chicken would be good and see if it gets things moving

Ah thanks lovely, she's fine today, still a little backed up but been giving her rabbit/chicken mix and she seems much brighter, no more sickness! Bless her..

Re: Poorly bug a lug :(
So good to hear Rachel, they do worry us don't they.
The other night Kuchar crept into bed with me and wanted me to cuddle him all night long, which is unusual for him. And in the morning he was sick. And then he was fine!
Strange animals sometimes - I guess the phrase "sick as a dog" didn't spring from nowhere.

Oh bless him that's so sweet! It's so adorable how they look for reassurance when they're poorly.. she's normally little miss independent on walks but she's stuck to me like glue the last few days. She's still playing the clingy card tonight though little madam, she'll do anything for extra cuddles!
