What the hell?

Now i'm the first person to say everyone loves my staffy and i never get bad press-but today OMFG!
Took Romeo to the sports field across the road this evening. First thing i saw was some big fat man that looked like a gorrilla with his equally fat daughter. They had a fluffy llhasa apso with them zooming around.
The man started hollaring on the top of his lungs; 'SHALAAAA! SHALA! SHALAA!'
I literally jumped. Now call me stupid but i thought he had lost another child and was panicking about it.
'Whats the matter?' I said, loudly.
He ignored me and started yelling louder and clapping his hands on his thighs.
Now by this point Romeo had reached the llasa and was sniffing it. The llasa play bowed him and they started to run round each other, playing.
The mans voice reached fever pitch.
'WHATS THE MATTER?' i proclaimed loudly, looking around for the source of his frenzied panic. Then i realised.
He was panicing at Romeo. ROMEO
I looked from him to Romeo and the llasa, what the freaking hell? Romeo finished his little play (which didn't last more then five seconds) and ran off across the field.
The llasa looked longingly at him then ran over to her owner.
I walked past the guy and his daughter and they both gave me filthy looks like a dragon had just savaged their dog.
As i walked past his little girl declared loudly. 'Did you see that?! That dog nearly bit Shala!'
WHAT THE hell?!!!!! ARE THEY BLIND? CAN THEY NOT SEE DOGS PLAYING?!
'EXCUSE ME.' i said loudly.
Again the filthy look.
'No he didn't ' I continued. 'He was just saying hello, not being aggressive!'
They just looked at me like i was completely mad!
THEN Romeo saw a staffy hes played with hundreds of times before, and ran up to her. She barked at him, and the owner gave me a filthy look and put her on the lead.
What the hell is up with people today?
AND i saw this white puppy huskey. Last time i saw it it was tiny and the women nearly broke its neck trying to pull it away from Romeo. I said to her when this happened; Don't do that. you have to let it socialise with other dogs or it will get aggressive. My dog is only saying hello, don't be so over protective.
Well guess what? That little puppy is growing into a big dog thats incredibly dog aggressive, barks at everything its sees and can't be let off the lead. I'd feel justified but its the dog i feel sorry for.
Freaking stupid imbeciles out today. -_-

ohhh this can be SO annoying I understand you're angry... but don't let people like this ruin your day! Romeo is a good and well behaved dog and that's most important!

some people wouldn't have a clue if it jumped up and bit them on the ..... IDIOTS!!

I let there dogs get on with it! So many times people will call there dogs back, but they just carry on. Moo will walk with me perfectly, and play with them!

If they don't want it playing and its off lead, then practice your recall, otherwise dogs will be dogs and socialise!

I no the feeling i have had so many owners literally scream at their dog to come back (which they never do) just because them and harv are wanting to say hello, people are ridiculous!

i no what you mean i was walking my three yesterday and a lady on a bike stoped to see the dogs she then stroked little ice and are new puppy solar all the wile my boy harley had just walked rite passed having a good sniff at all the nice smells on the grass the lady then came out with the best one ive ever had she is bent down giving it arrrr she is just lovely how cute but i dont like them dogs and points at my boy harley who has not even looked at her well a had to laff and say thats funny coz ur stoking one and just walked on

Sorry to hear that. You just can't educate everyone.
