Elbows from hell...
Does anyone else find that when you're having cuddle time with your dog (or being used as a bed) that your little woof dog has incredibly sharp elbows??!? I feel mean moving her when she's all goofy with her teeth out sounding like a pig so I have to put up wih her elbows like knives till she moves!

Yes! Oh my gosh yes! Lethal elbows!
His back feet are worse though. He lays on his side on the sofa next to me, then does a kangaroo kick with both back legs to get me to move over. The trouble is, I'm already at the other side of the sofa - I can't move any further!

Haha! Kangaroo kick, what a great way to describe it - I've been kangaroo kicked many times she likes to do a big huff or sigh if I move her SLIGHTLY by accident too!

I know! True pet ownership - nothing like being kicked off your own sofa and stabbed to death by fury knife like elbows!

Re: Elbows from hell...
Tommy just gets on the bed and walks around and around and around wagging his tail lethargically and then just drops on you like a sack of spuds elbows an all

Yes indeed, seems like she also likes to smack me in the head when she stretches as well

i didnt realise how fast they grow!
he doubled his weight between having his first and second injections haha

Re: Elbows from hell...
elbows are a right pain but for me his paws are the worst, my OH calls them heat seeking missiles and ALWAYS finds the most private a painful area to put ALL of his weight, just makes me giggle (the joys of being female i guess) !!!

Kuchar does this too - it's like being hit by a truck, and in the middle of the night it just ain't funny! I've never known a dog be so heavy, or drop down like he was poleaxed like that. Thank heavens my dobes didn't do that, they would have squashed me flat.

Re: Elbows from hell...
It does come as quite a shock! quite random, but I think Kuchar is a lovely name, I've never heard of it before

Re: Elbows from hell...
My son chose the name (he's my son's dog officially). Apparently there is some golfer called (first name) Kuchar. Some people think he was named after some pop star, but that is not the case.
Glad you like it!

Re: Elbows from hell...
argggg
it was all true!
bucks elbows are brutal
hes just woke up because the wind made my letterbox bang and decided to have a mad 15 mins.
hes just been legging it around the living room at full pelt and launched himself onto me whilst i was sat on the sofa.
dog elbows in the neck/collarbone at about 50mph
then to add insult to injury he used me as traction to propel himself back off the sofa so i got scratched to hell.
hes now flat out and snoring.
little bugger
