I would of thought so but when you see what those 2 grim people in Texas got for making crush films I'm begining to think maybe they are not as "strict" as they are here. I use the term "strict" as I don't think our laws are hard enough on animal abuse

Poor poor doggy, guy should be forced to have his entire face tattooed against his will, see how he likes it!! When are some people gonna realise that dogs are not possessions they can do anything with, they are little life's that depend on us for everything!

Tattooing for identity ok minimal discrete and i can see some pros over microchipping but that is unnecessary and hideous

Right, I am going to bite the bullet and go against what people are saying. A lot of dogs are tattooed for identification purposes, Greyhounds for one, and if you have a pit bull type in this country it has to be muzzled in public, neutered, microchipped and tattooed. This guy did it for identification purposes. This says to me he cares about his dog and doesn't want to lose it. It could easily be identified as it is a unique tattoo.
Personally I can't see the difference. Sorry if I have upset or offended anyone.   

yes fair play i agree with the above statement but the tattoo on the dog in the article is obviously an artistic design not an identifying one. i dislike tattoos on people but at least they have the choice.
