New incoming Staff in a few weeks
Just purchased our first staffordshire bull terrier. Pups are currently 2 weeks old. Will be ready in October.
Input on type of food would be appreciated.
High quality kibble or raw...not sure what route I'm going with .

Re: New incoming Staff in a few weeks
Hi & welcome.
How exciting! Always great to anticipate the arrival of a new pup. Have you seen your pup yet?
Food wise, raw is a great way to feed, but do your research. I would always recommend that you stick with the food the breeder has been giving for a couple of weeks to let your pup settle in to his new surroundings - a new home is trauma enough, without a change of food to give a bad tummy! However, that depends on what food is being given. If it's something like Bakers, then try and get him off it as quickly as possible.
If you do go raw, use a good quality puppy-specific commercial food (Nutriment is a really good one) until he's about 6 months or so & then gradually change to an adult one.
I don't feed kibble, but there are some good ones out there; have a look on www.allaboutdogfood.co.uk to get a comparison of quality & price.
My last dog was raw fed until about a year old, when he completely went off it! I ended up using Butternut Box. A little bit more expensive than some, but really good quality with loads of choice.

Re: New incoming Staff in a few weeks
Thanks. Yes I've seen the pups but they're very young still as we're going to select according to temperament.
I'm in Canada so not sure we have the same kibble choices but I do go with arcana or similar/higher quality if that's the chosen route.
