Re: best / most used food for our puppy
Wet food (canned mainly) isn't great because of the high water content, meaning you have to feed more! For a very young puppy you should feed whatever he has been weened on to. If it's kibble you should add a little warm water to soften it so that it doesn't stick in their throat.
Once he has settled in (about 14 days) you can have a look around & change the food if you want to, but always do it gradually, over about 10/14 days.
I would always recommend raw (there are a couple of easy to get complete raw puppy foods available) but if you prefer kibble have a look at the allaboutdogfood.co.uk site as they go through just about every food & tell you how good (or bad - ie Bakers) the food is & roughly how much each costs.

Hi from me & Katy Welcome to our forum, bet you can't wait to have your new furbaby
Regarding food start with whatever the breeder is feeding him as to not upsetting his little tummy then gradually change over to what you choose. Katy has never had wet food in her life & has done absolutely fine on kibble. She was on Wainwrights for years & I changed her to Tails last year & she's fine on that too

Re: best / most used food for our puppy
Hello and welcome.
My girls were brought up on orijen and acana kibble.
Switched to carnilove for a while when they were already adult but have gone back to acana.
Tried barf but it was expensive, Nifty was picky on the flavours and I was concerned about it being correctly balanced. Barf is also difficult for freezer space so I find a good quality kibble is easier.
