9 month old female limping
Hi everyone!
Over the past couple of days our girl has started to limp she usually goes out with my partners parents puppy but her limp has got a lot worse she doesn’t seems bothered when you touch her leg or move it around any ideas what it could Be, I know my partners parents puppy did they same as around this age I was just wondering whether it was normal? Also this may be completely different but past few days she seems to be to be slapping her lips a lot more in the night could this be another issue or related to possible being in pain, as I said she is showing no other signs other then limping

Re: 9 month old female limping
Hi from me & Katy She could be overdoing the exercise, is she off lead & playing rough & tumble with the other pup? As you know they are not a delicate breed when it comes to running & playing! She could of tweaked a muscle, give her a couple of days quiet walking & see if it improves. They are known not to show it when they are in pain Keep an eye on her & if she doesn't improve pop her to the vets.

The rest should help, we call Katy a Staffordshire bulldozer! She often pulls or tweaks muscles but after a rest is fine. Let us know how she gets on. What is her name & Oh we love to see pics

Re: 9 month old female limping
Hello and welcome.
Aww, she is such a sweetie, and congratulations !
It could be as Jen says and/or growing pains. In both cases, rest is your best start and a vet check if it gets worse or doesn’t improve.
