Assessing if this girl.is a staffy
We were told both parents are staffies and she was removed due to.problems in family pups were neglected and abused and not fed. She is very possessive over food. I will attach a pic. She is supposed to be about 19 weeks according to.what we were told. She has not become more stocky and has been here 3 weeks but has grown possibly in length and also her legs. Your thoughts, staffy or possible x wanted to attach video as shows size better but file too big

Re: Assessing if this girl.is a staffy
Hi & welcome.
She certainly looks like a Stafford, although it's very hard to say at that age - they change so much as they grow!
Staffords don't really bulk up until about 18 months or so, plenty of time yet. Did you see the parents at all?

Re: Assessing if this girl.is a staffy
Hi thank you so much. Her name is Mandy as they called her Brandy abs I didnt like it. She is a foster and I have to decide if want to.keep.her. the other white one is Bailey an Amstaff who talks a lot and is a handful was also a foster but hard to home so he will stay. I have a 14 year 8 month old staffy girl.Jodie who has a little pitbull in her but temperament is staffy and talks a lot. By the way when do.they start back chatting one? Ha ha! Then I have a pitbull.foster who is separate from.Bailey and pup but okay with Jodie and the other dogs I have. Thanks for advice as I know staffies to be quite chunky even as pups but can see they can differ from.what you saying and she def had a bad start . Will try attach pic of Jodie she came in as a pup.

Re: Assessing if this girl.is a staffy
Thank you that's very sweet of you. I dont hear that very often! It's more like what's wrong with you!. It's a lot of work and esp cause I'm unemployed so dont have much help but I do the best I can as there are so many animals here without homes and adoptions slow and good homes are scarce. Puppies are easier to home but it's as they get older to like a year that it becomes difficult ukt. There are a lot of staffies from 1-10 up for adoption some are pairs. It's very sad. When do staffies start to talk? I will also read through all the info I received when joining. Thanks again

Re: Assessing if this girl.is a staffy
If only more people would do it! I would love to but my girl is reactive to dogs!! As for when they start to speak I can't really remember, Katy has always been vocal but when her back chatting started I'm not sure. I don't think she was that old
