The heat this summer has been extreme and Dodger has been much itchier than usual. Now he's always had issues in the summer as he has various allergies, there are no fleas or anything, just his usual summer itch, but x10.
He's also been slightly moulting, which is unusual.
He does still have a good coat and nothing to see on his skin. Tried keeping him as cool as possible and piriton. Has anyone else found their dog to be itchier this year?

I think the unusual heat we've had in the UK is making everyone, us included, a bit itchier than usual.

You could try rubbing in some coconut oil to see if it relieves the itch a little.

You can still rub it in - just spread it in your hands & then massage into the affected areas.

What is he fed?

Katy is nibbling her legs & scratching more than she usually does! She's on daily antihistamine with me so certainly helping Smile
