Introducing Siuna (pronounced Shoonah)
Siuna is a lovely wee lass approx 2 years old, bred, starved and thrown out on the streets. She is very thin nothing more than skin and bones at the moment and came to us through a local rescue centre. It will be our privilege to ensure that Siuna gets back to her proper weight in a loving environment. We are currently fostering her with a view to adoption in due course and has been with us since Thursday. Will keep you posted on her improvement.
Have been trying to add photo but my phone is playing games with me.

Gosh, that's not good, is it?
She's got an absolutely adorable face, I can't wait to see what she looks like all fit and healthy in your loving hands.

Re: Introducing Siuna (pronounced Shoonah)
That's my girl. She's a really lovely girl, very affectionate and generally well behaved. She doesn't seem to know how to play. So I'm working with her ball and tug. So far so good but progress is slow. Her concentration is not brilliant but just needs more work.

Re: Introducing Siuna (pronounced Shoonah)
Until we adopt her. That's a given and will probably happen very soon. Just a question of spare money.

Re: Introducing Siuna (pronounced Shoonah)
I thought it wouldn't be long! I think when we took on Bobbert it was a month because he was such a traumatised/difficult dog, the rescue wanted to make sure we were sure we knew what we were taking on.

Re: Introducing Siuna (pronounced Shoonah)
8 WEEK UPDATE
Took her to the vets this week as a follow-up after being diagnosed with having both hookworm and lungworm eggs in her stool and just waiting for the results of her latest test. Also got weighed. Our dear Siuna has put on 7kg in 8 weeks. Absolutely ecstatic with her progress. Still no news on her adoption. And we're unable to spay her until after her next season - whenever that'll be. However she'll be introduced to the wilds of Dumfries and Galloway next week followed be Stirling and the grandma test. The Book is open on how long it'll take Siuna to win over granny. 5mins: 1:150000. ONLY JOKING! It won't take that long.

And there isn't really a book open. I was using it as an illustration.
