Any ideas for a heavy chewer?
Hi, I'm Cookie (sometime my fiance will post under the same name he is Casdune). We adopted our Sweet little girl Caroline Bell on June 7th. She is the first Staffy I have ever been around for more than a visit to my in-laws, so I have a lot of learning to do. Our big thing is she chews any toys I give her, besides her hard nylon bones, in minutes. I'm looking at getting more Kong toys but I want to know of any other ideas/ brands to look at. Any help is greatly appreciated. Our baby does so much for us, my fiance has seizures and our sweetie, without training, has started alerting to them. I want to give her all the toys she deserves.

Hi from me & Katy, what a beautiful & clever girl you have there It is an honour to be owned by a staffie Katy destroys most toys, kongs do survive & she loves her antlers so you could try one of them

Thank you for replying!
Caroline has had 2 antlers, the first was destroyed within 48 hours and She has lost her second one. I'm wondering if the first was a "soft" one and that's why she destroyed it so fast. Also your sweetie is adorable!!!!

Re: Any ideas for a heavy chewer?
Hi Cookie, and welcome from me and mine. What a wonderful girl you have! It sounds like you're all lucky to have each other.
Is your girl into balls? If so, try a Boomer Ball. If you get the large size (I think it's about 10 inch) she won't be able to get it in her mouth to destroy it but will (hopefully) have hours of fun trying. Boomer ball is a great favourite of many of the dogs on here.

If she likes balls (Liz suggested this to us) get a babble ball As you can imagine Katy is a serial destroyer but hasn't killed this or her boomer

Thank you so much!!! I hope she will enjoy these. I might start with the boomer ball. My sweetie has a fear of noises when she first hears them. She barked at the T.V. the first night we brought her home. Took about a week to work her through that. Now she sits and watches t.v. with us. lol
