Re: Cody Got doggy Dandruff
Misty had terrible dandruff when she came to us. We changed her food from Bakers and now after a few others she is on nature's menu and the dandruff has completely gone. Like Crystal I also give her tuna, sardines and mackerel each week. Also when she first came to us I used a no rinse dog foam shampoo from pah which cleaned her up as she was a bit stinky the poor thing. That got rid of her flakes and I believe her diet keeps it away. She also has a coconut to eat every couple of weeks which she loves and coconut is supposed to be good. Good luck!

Re: Cody Got doggy Dandruff
id really advise unless your dog has a diagnosed skin condition to keep the baths to 3 times a year . the dog will lose oils from their coat .

I don't like burns personally, haven't seen good results with it in rescue and I'm not keen on the ingredients. Potentially could be the food. Coconut oil is also great for the skin as well as a diet change, see how you go.

Re: Cody Got doggy Dandruff
What wipes do you use? I personally wouldn't use anything chemical on my dogs' coats/skin. It may sound nice for us but to me it's all a bit unnatural. My guys get towelled down if they're really wet or dirty. That's it unless they roll in something which is, thankfully, very rare.
