Rough pads Empty Rough pads

Post by Peter Stafford Wed Jan 27 2016, 18:34

I was wondering if someone on the forum has a good remedy against rough pads.
Kiki's pads of her front pawsare really rough and coarse, mostly from digging.
What can I do to make them softer?

Rub a little coconut oil (pure organic virgin) on the pads while resting. Kiki will try and lick it off but doesn't matter as it can be very beneficial to her and will soften her pads too:)

I cannot find coconut oil but have found avocado oil. I will see if this does the trick.
