New to forum in search of answers dog health
Hi guys I new to forum only just joined so pls forgive me if I posting incorrectly. Have joined here in desperation and answers. Concerned my ten year old pedigree red and white Staffordshire bull terrier has cancer. About five weeks ago she couldn't get up and walk and just thought was arthritis playing up which she does have. So took her to vets and she had blood tests and was treated for slipped disc. Vet was concerned about balding patch on her back above tail and she also had scraped her belly week or two before that wasn't healing so tests were done to rule out thyroid condition (levels normal). Two weeks After back at another vet (other one was emergency 24 hour vet) as she had blisters or ulcers in mouth. She was given antibiotics, tramadol, anti inflammatorys. Oh and a series of four injections to rebuild cartilage. She was meant to have fourth injection on Sunday for last one but ended up back at Emergency vets last night aa blisters have come back. More blood works. Her protein is down and elevated white cells. Vet suspects may be cancer. She doesn't think it anything good. Need to do ultrasound.
Sor guess I asking anyone else had similar experiences? Could it be cancer (she not off appetite). Has anyone else had same thing?

Hi ya, welcome to the forum from Flo & me.
Sorry to read of the issues your girl is going through. I've not experienced anything like this so really can't offer any advice above that of the vet really.
Hopefully someone will be able to offer something more constructive than me.

Hi and welcome from me and mine.
I'm so sorry to hear of all of your girl's ills, it does sound like there is something deeper at play, doesn't it? Might it be worth chatting to your vet about a referral to a specialist? I could speed up the diagnosis as, in my experience, they can hone in more quickly on the root cause.
