The search

Its literally impossible at the moment to find a solid red kc registered bitch under 15 inches in height ANYWHERE near me. All the kc breeders seem to only be interested in breeding blues and black-brindles. All the other red 'staffies' are type crosses.
There is a man I sometimes see with a gorgeous red staffy boy, spitting image of Romeo but only 12 inches in height. He said he got it from a breeder in Kent. I also once saw a blue staffy girl no more then about 11 inches, he also said he got her from a breeder in Kent.
Who is this mysterious breeder in Kent breeding such small staffies? Does anyone know of a red, short legged breeder?
(Hope no one gets offended by my personal preference for short staffies, its just what I prefer and the size I think staffies look best at.)

Have you tried the Wyrefare kennels (Mr & Mrs Beaufoy) as I believe they have a fantastic red stud dog & they might be able to point you in the right direction (http://www.thesbtc.com/contact.asp ), or the Ashstock kennels (http://lewisjharvey.brinkster.net/index.html), I knew Alec Waters quite well, and his dogs were always high class.
