My staffy won't stop chewing

hi I have a staffy called Bruno and he's nearly 8 I've moved into my house with my girlfriend 7 months Ago from my moms house.
Until now he's been so good and got use to the house pretty good and was fine being left when going on work etc as of late (last 2 weeks) he's completely destroyed our leather sofa pretty much, also he's biting into anything in site and when we get home whether it's been 30 mins or 6 hours he has either pooed or weed in the house. Does anyone know what this could be?

he goes out twice daily and I feed him dry complete food harringtons
